Artwork Guidelines

Artwork Proofing
We will not print or embroider any garments before they have been proofed by email and approved by you. We have a specialised team who will check your order and flag any potential issues. We require your correct contact information so we can discuss any issues. Even if your Artwork is fine we will need the artwork proofed and agreed by you.

Files We Can Accept
We can accept the following file types up to a maximum of 50Mb.
jpeg, tiff, png, pdf, ai, eps, psd, cdr

NOTE: please make sure all non vector files such as jpeg, tiff, pdf, png and ai are converted from the original vector file to ensure highest quality. At least 300dpi is ideal.

Artwork Quality
You should try to upload the best quality, highest resolution version of your logo/design. If we feel that your artwork is going to produce a poor quality result, we’ll contact you to discuss how best to proceed.

NOTE: please make sure all non vector files such as jpeg, tiff, pdf, png and ai are converted from the original vector file to ensure highest quality. At least 300dpi is ideal.

Image/Logo/Design Backgrounds
Many file types such as png and eps support image transparencies. If you have a background that needs to be removed it is best to use one of these formats.

For the sake of clarity, when you upload a new image there is a tick box called ‘Remove background from my image when Printed / Embroidered’. If you select this then our artwork team will know that you do not wish the background displayed on your artwork to be printed or embroidered.

Embroidery and Print Maximum Width
The maximum width for embroidery and print is 25-30cm although this is contingent on the size of the garment and the position of the customisation. Scaling of your logo will be adjusted according to the width of your logo.

Print Colour

If you wish to match colours for prints, please specify on the order or email us on support@haltbarworkwear.co.uk. Print colours can not always be matched however we always endeavour to find the closest match.
