Print Methods Explained

PRINT METHODS AVAILABLE FOR CLOTHING

NEW TRANSFER METHOD (HYBRID)

After vigorous testing and trials, we have developed a system where we incorporate DTF Printing and screen printing, this method of print gives you excellent durability, whilst also allowing you to choose full colour and intricate design. This method is the closest to the perfect garment decoration currently available in the industry.

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. One colour is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicoloured image or design.

Suitability: Embroidery tends to work best on Polo Shirts, Hoodies, Fleeces, business Shirts & Blouses, Tabards & Aprons, Jackets and Headwear.

Not Ideal for shirts below 175gsm as the embroidery tends to pukker due to the garment not holding the embroidery due to the thin material.

Long lasting printing technique. Economical for large runs of T-shirt printing. Vibrant colours. Cost effective for bulk orders.

Not Ideal for small Runs

VINYL APPLICATION

Heat transfer vinyl, or HTV for short, is a specialty vinyl polymer that can be used on certain fabrics and materials to create designs and promotional products. It comes in a roll or sheet form with an adhesive backing so it can be cut, weeded, and placed on a substrate for heat application. Heat transfer vinyl is made in single colors and has special options such as patterned, glitter, flocked, holographic, glow-in-the-dark & reflective.

Its Ideal for 1 or 2 colour applications and designs that do not have tiny texts.

It’s a great method of print for Hi Vis Jackets, hoodies, polos, tshirts, even business shirts and blouses. Not recommended for wool, fleece jackets & heat resistant material.

Great for short print runs. Perfect for names and numbers on the back of shirts and jerseys. Can add some special effects to clothing ie: reflective, holographic, glow in the dark.

Washing Instructions: Turn inside out and was at 40 degrees, when ironing turn inside out and place a cloth over the print.

EMBROIDERY

Machine embroidery is an embroidery process whereby a sewing machine or embroidery machine is used to create patterns on textiles. It is commercially used in product branding, corporate advertising, and uniform adornment.

Long lasting design that will not fade over time. Professional look and feel.

Not Ideal for small quantities & Extremely large detailed Prints.
